The book of ancient mysteries
Last Monday, February 2nd, I published my second book in English for the international market. I am talking, of course, about e-books. If I had depended on the obsolete printed book market, I would not have published any more.
My first experience with the international market was with Open Channel D - The Man From UNCLE Affair, a book about an unforgettable TV series from the 1960s. Even with few promotional resources, Channel D sold well in the USA, UK and Canada.
Open History: Aliens, UFOs, and other Mysteries of Antiquity deals with mysteries that have always been treated as legends or simple signs of ignorance of primitive peoples. The concept of Open History implies the possibility that these legends really happened in some way, but their description was the one possible for our distant ancestors.
Very similar stories are told in various parts of the world by different peoples of the past - Incas, Mayans, Egyptians, Mesopotamians, Chinese, Greeks, Indians, Romans - and recorded on clay tablets (in Phoenicia) or on cave walls (as in the Tassili caves in Africa). There are surprising points in common between these narratives. And the fantastic possibility of a new version of the birth of civilization.
