A guerra das eras
Depois de umas curtas férias voltei a escrever minha coluna para a Oeste. Minha coluna da semana é sobre a superioridade tecnológica de Israel no campo de batalha. Eles conseguem estar na frente em todos os níveis.
Meu artigo procura mostrar também que esta não é uma luta apenas entre dois países, mas entre duas eras. Israel está na vanguarda do século 21. O Irã estagnou no século 7. E é uma tragédia que pessoas que se definem como "progressistas" apoiem um regime que mata mulheres que mostrem o próprio cabelo e homossexuais por serem homossexuais.
A música é proibida no Irã. Ninguém pode discordar do regime. Existe uma "polícia de costumes" nas ruas espancando pessoas que eles não consideram vestidas adequadamente. Suas armas são projetadas para matar civis indiscriminadamente. Sua prisão política, a Evin, é uma das mais temidas do mundo.

War of Ages
After a short vacation, I am back writing my column for Oeste. My column this week is about Israel’s technological superiority on the battlefield. They manage to be ahead on every level.
My article also seeks to show that this is not just a fight between two countries, but between two eras. Israel is at the forefront of the 21st century. Iran has stagnated in the 7th century. And it is a tragedy that people who define themselves as “progressive” support a regime that kills women who show their hair and homosexuals for being homosexual.
Music is banned in Iran. No one can disagree with the regime. There are “morality police” on the streets beating people they consider not to be dressed appropriately. Their weapons are designed to kill civilians indiscriminately. Their political prison, Evin, is one of the most feared in the world.
